"The kit...was so much more than I expected. You offer elegant engineering solutions, a simple and beautiful sukkah and a process that is easy to understand and complete. With thanks from a very satisfied customer who is now passing your URL around her shul."

"Thanks once again for such a beautiful service to our community and such a wonderful product.  I've built several of your wood and steel frame Sukkot in the past, and know how easy they are to assemble.   With the right team in place, we set up a 24x36 sukkah with roof in under two hours.  I especially love the new bamboo roofing poles!"

"Steve and Judith,  On behalf of everyone at Temple Israel in Westport, we want to thank you for helping to make our event, 60Sukkot, a wonderful success. We had a beautiful day and a huge turnout. Everyone was pleased with your products."
E.D.

"This morning we took the 16x24 WoodFrame Sukkah down... Everyone was amazed at how easy your kit and plans made things go. But more importantly, our congregants (and Rabbi) love it. It is roomy, and the wood and bamboo mat roof gave it a warm feeling that our old PVC pipe Sukkah sorely lacked".

8x12 Wood-Frame Sukkah Kit

Product Options

WoodFrame Kit options:
Price: $240.00
SOLD OUT. Tubular 8x12 still in stock
This is our best selling WoodFrame Kit, and provides maximum design options: you can build your choice of a 8'x8', 8'x10', or 8'x12' sukkah.  An 8x12 sukkah provides seating space for 8 to 10.

Kit includes steel connectors, hardware, & our time-tested Klutz-Proof Assembly Manual. Available with or without SukkahScreen walls. Lumber not included (est. lumber cost $44).

The 8x12 Wood-frame Sukkah Kit employs a set of ingenious galvanized steel braces to assemble a sturdy, reusable sukkah frame using standard-length 2x4 lumber. With the 8x12 Kit you can build your choice of an 8x8, 8x10 or 8x12 sukkah with either 3- or 4 walls, and the doorway can be placed in the center (as shown) or in a corner.

The kit contains all the braces and hardware needed plus
an illustrated, Klutz-Proof  Assembly Manual. The Wood-Frame Sukkah Kit is designed for the complete novice builder and requires no previous carpentry skill or knowledge.
The only tool required is a screwdriver (power screwdriver recommended).

Lumber for the project does not come with the kit, but is easily obtained at any building supply store using the "lumber shopping list" included with the instructions. The project uses inexpensive, standard-length 2x4s for the frame and 1x2s or 2x2s for the roof.

Walls to cover the frame can be made from a variety of materials including natural or synthetic fabrics, wood lattice, plywood, or our specially-designed SukkahScreen™: an extremely durable outdoor fabric with sturdy edge reinforcement and brass grommets.  It attaches quickly with reusable elastic bungee loops (included).
Wood-Frame Sukkah Kits can be purchased WITH or WITHOUT SukkahScreen™ wall material.

COLOR of SukkahScreen™ for Wood-Frame Kits is VARIABLE--it will be either deep blue, forest green or bluish-green. If you wish to submit a preference, call or email us when ordering and we will tell you what is available.
